What a wall graze light does
A wall graze light is installed low in the wall and sends its light along the wall and across the floor. The result is a calm, even glow that outlines steps, corners and doorways without lighting up the whole room. The WLFLR-1W30K-90-AL combines that effect with a wide 120° beam, so a few fixtures spaced along a staircase or corridor create a continuous path of light — perfect for late-night trips to the kitchen, a basement family room or a hotel corridor.
Warm, accurate light at very low wattage
Each fixture uses only 1.4W. The 3000K colour temperature gives a warm white that feels at home in living spaces, and the 90 CRI keeps hardwood, stone, tile and paint looking natural. With compatible electronic or magnetic dimming drivers, the light dims from 100% to 5%, so you can keep a soft night level in a stairwell and raise it when guests arrive.
Wiring and installation
This hardwire fixture operates on a 24V constant-voltage system and needs a remote power supply. Its toolless push-in connector takes LVT low-voltage cable and allows daisy-chain wiring, so one run can connect several fixtures along a staircase. The aluminum housing has strain relief and torsion clips that hold it firmly in the wall opening, and the fixture can be rotated to orient the light. It is IC rated; in an insulated wall, the manufacturer requires a vapor barrier (WL-VBE) and a pre-mounting plate, sold separately. Use it indoors only, in dry or damp locations — cETLus certified.
Why choose the aluminum finish
The aluminum finish brings a subtle metallic accent that ties in with brushed hardware, metal handrails, stainless steel and contemporary light fixtures. It stays discreet on grey, white or concrete walls and gives a technical, polished look in commercial corridors. The round trim keeps the outline soft; if you prefer sharper lines, the same light also exists with a square trim, and in flat white or anodized black.
