With compatible electronic or magnetic dimming drivers, the light dims from 100% to 5%; set it low for a night path in a nursery corridor, or higher for an entrance that welcomes guests.

Installation
This hardwire low-voltage fixture runs on a 24V constant-voltage system and needs a remote power supply. Its toolless push-in connector accepts LVT cable and supports daisy-chain wiring from fixture to fixture, which keeps a stair run simple and clean. The aluminum housing has strain relief and torsion clips for a secure fit in the wall, and the fixture rotates so the light can be oriented precisely. It is IC rated; in insulated walls, the manufacturer specifies a vapor barrier (WL-VBE) and a pre-mounting plate, sold separately. It is for indoor use only, in dry and damp locations, and is cETLus certified. A licensed electrician can plan the power supply location and wiring route in one visit.

Round trim in flat white — and other uses
The round flat white trim is the quietest look of the family, disappearing into white and off-white walls. Beyond stairs and corridors, the fixture is suggested for accent illumination, display lighting, under-cabinet lighting and wall washing — for instance, to softly light white built-in shelving or a gallery wall.
