LL SERIES FOR LIGHT RESIDENTIAL APPLICATIONS - TK6012-WH

SKU: TK6012-WH

Brand: LITELINE

Give your room a lighting layout that can change as often as you rearrange the furniture. The LL Series track rail TK6012-WH from LITELINE is a 12-ft single-circuit track lighting rail in a clean white finish — the backbone people are really looking for when they search for track light heads, track rails or a long run of ceiling track for a kitchen, loft or shop. Also called a track section, lighting rail or "rail d'éclairage", it lets you clip on, slide and aim your track heads exactly where the light needs to land, then move them again next season without touching the ceiling drywall.

This one is built from extruded aluminum with 1⁄32" die cast aluminum construction and 3⁄64" PVC insulators holding 12 gauge flat conductor wiring, so the copper conductors stay concealed inside a low-profile insulating thermoplastic cross-section. The system is rated 20A, 120V, 60Hz, a single hot and neutral rated for 20 amps per branch circuit — plenty of headroom for a full row of heads. A polarity groove on the face of the track shows you exactly where the grounding conductor sits, so orientation is never guesswork. The profile stays discreet at 1 3⁄8" (35 mm) wide and ¾" (21 mm) high, and the section measures 144" (3658 mm) long in a white finish that disappears against most painted ceilings.

It's made for residential and commercial projects alike: kitchens and open-concept living rooms, basement renovations, hallways and stairwells, plus boutiques, cafés, galleries and small offices across Canada where display lighting has to move with the merchandise. Sections join end to end with Liteline track connectors, and the whole Liteline track system is compatible with all Liteline track accessories and connectors — I-connector IC6101, L-connector LC6102, T-connector TC6103, X-connector XC6104, flexible connector FC6105, live-ends LE6110 and LE6111, wired-end WE6110, center feed CF6108, conduit feed CA6106, end cap TK6000-END, and the TDR62, RODF62 and RODR62 stem rod kits for suspended runs. Prefer another colour? The same rail is offered in LL Series track TK6012-BK, LL Series track TK6012-BN and LL Series track TK6012-SL. Map your run, add your heads and light the room your way.

Solid extruded construction
The LL Series is an extruded aluminum track with flat, solid integral conductors, engineered for light residential applications but equally at home in everyday commercial installs. The body uses 1⁄32" die cast aluminum construction with 3⁄64" PVC insulators that hold 12 gauge flat conductor wiring in place. Because the conductors are flat and fully seated in the extrusion, the track rail keeps a slim cross-section instead of the bulky channel you get with older systems — a real advantage on a low basement ceiling or under a bulkhead. A polarity groove runs along the face of the track to mark the location of the grounding conductor, which makes it obvious how to orient each section and each head during installation.

Electrical and single-circuit performance
This is a 1-circuit track for 120V applications. The single hot and neutral conductors are rated for 20 Amps per branch circuit, and the copper electrical conductors are concealed in an insulating thermoplastic low-profile track cross-section. In plain terms: one switch leg, one circuit, and enough capacity to feed a long row of LED track light heads without crowding the circuit. Track lighting is a single circuit electrical distribution system designed to supply power to lighting units in flexible ways, so you can add, remove or reposition fixtures later as the room changes. Connection to the branch circuit is made through a live-end, a live-end with canopy, a wired-end or a center feed, depending on whether your junction box sits at the end of the run or somewhere in the middle.

Accessories and compatibility
The Liteline track system is compatible with all Liteline track accessories and connectors, so a 12-ft section is really just one piece of a layout you design yourself. Join two sections in a straight line with the IC6101 I-connector, turn a corner at 90° with the LC6102 L-connector, branch three ways with the TC6103 T-connector or build a grid with the XC6104 X-connector. The FC6105 flexible connector joins two sections at varying angles for sloped or angled ceilings. For power, choose the LE6110 live-end, the LE6111 live-end with canopy, the WE6110 wired-end that feeds from a receptacle, the CF6108 center feed with canopy cover, or the CA6106 live-end conduit feed with a 7⁄8" knockout for top or end feed. Close the run with the TK6000-END end cap, and suspend the rail below a high ceiling using the TDR62 hollow stem rod kit with ceiling canopy, mounting brackets and hardware, or the RODR62 and RODF62 hollow stem rods. Accessories are sold separately.

Applications, matching finishes and documentation
Think kitchen islands and countertops where you want three or four heads aimed at the work zone, a hallway wash in a condo, artwork and shelving in a living room, or a retail counter and product display that gets rebuilt every month. Contractors like it for basement renovations and small offices because one rail and one circuit replace several separate outlet boxes. To match your hardware and cabinet pulls, the same track is available as LL Series track TK6012-BK in black, LL Series track TK6012-BN in brushed nickel and LL Series track TK6012-SL in silver. Full dimensions, the ordering guide and the accessory list are in the technical spec sheet available in the Documentation tab — worth a quick look before you finalize your run and your connector list.
