Built by LITELINE, this track is die cast aluminum extrusion with PVC insulators holding flat conductor wiring, and a polarity groove on the face of the track that clearly indicates the location of the grounding conductor — a small detail that makes installation faster and safer. It's a 1-circuit track designed for 120V applications, with a system electrical rating of 20A, 120V, 60Hz, and the copper conductors stay concealed inside a low-profile insulating thermoplastic cross-section. The profile measures 21 mm by 35 mm, so it hugs the ceiling instead of dominating it, and the section runs 3658 mm (144") long. Sections can be joined together with any of the compatible track connectors for runs of almost any shape.

Solid extruded construction
The TK60 track family is built from extruded aluminum with flat, solid integral conductors, and the TK6012-BK gives you a full 12-foot section in a black finish. The extrusion uses 1⁄32" die cast aluminum construction with 3⁄64" PVC insulators that hold 12 gauge flat conductor wiring securely in place. A polarity groove runs along the face of the track to indicate where the grounding conductor sits, so orientation is never a guessing game when you join sections or drop in a feed. The result is a rigid, straight track rail that stays true over long spans and accepts accessories without play or rattle.

Electrical design
This is a single circuit track for 120V applications: a single hot and neutral conductor rated for 20 Amps per branch circuit, with a system electrical rating of 20A, 120V, 60Hz. The copper electrical conductors are concealed inside an insulating thermoplastic low profile cross-section, keeping live parts protected while the visible profile stays slim. Keep in mind that track lighting is a single circuit electrical distribution system designed to supply power to lighting units in flexible ways — plan your total connected load against the 20A branch circuit rating, and have the supply wiring done by a qualified electrician according to local code.

Accessories and compatibility
The Liteline track system is compatible with all Liteline track accessories and connectors, and every piece is sold separately so you build exactly the layout you need. Power it with the LE6110 live-end, the LE6111 live-end with canopy, the WE6110 wired-end from a receptacle, the CF6108 center feed with canopy cover, or the CA6106 live-end conduit feed with a 7⁄8" knockout for top or end feed. Shape the run with the IC6101 I-connector at 180°, the LC6102 L-connector at 90°, the TC6103 T-connector for three sections at 90°, the XC6104 X-connector for four sections at 90°, or the FC6105 flexible connector for varying angles. Finish open ends with the TK6000-END end cap, and suspend the track from a high or sloped ceiling with the TDR62 hollow stem rod kit (ceiling canopy, mounting brackets and hardware included), the RODR62 rod to suspend track from the ceiling, or the RODF62 rod for track fixtures.
