Built for clean, continuous linesThis flexible
LED tape is built on an
8 mm wide PCB with a
3 oz copper thickness, a detail that matters more than most people realize: heavier copper carries current with less voltage drop and pulls heat away from the diodes, which protects both brightness and colour over time. The
Epistar 2835 SMD chips are placed at
128 pcs per meter, a tight spacing that softens the dotting effect in coves, under cabinets and behind diffusers. The roll is
30 m long and can be cut every
62.5 mm (every 8 LEDs) at the marked cut lines, so you can size each run to the exact cabinet, shelf or ceiling detail without waste.
Light quality you can seeWith a
CRI of 90+, this strip renders colour honestly — white quartz stays white, oak stays warm, fabrics and packaging keep their real tone. That makes it a strong choice for kitchens, closets, bathrooms and any retail or gallery display where merchandise has to look right. The
3000K colour temperature is the classic warm white Canadians ask for in homes, restaurants and hospitality projects, while the
120º beam angle spreads light wide and evenly across the surface just above or beside it. Efficiency comes in at
130 lm/W for a draw of
9.6 W per meter, so you get a generous, usable output for very little energy — a fraction of what halogen or incandescent accent lighting used to consume.

Wiring, dimming and installationThe strip runs on
24V DC, which means it needs a low-voltage driver or power supply sized to your total load — multiply 9.6 W by the number of meters in the run and keep headroom. Respect the
10 m maximum length per feed; for longer runs, bring power to the far end or split the installation into separate home runs to avoid visible fade at the end of the line. It is
dimmable, so it can be paired with a compatible low-voltage dimming system for mood control in bedrooms, dining rooms and restaurant seating areas. The
IP22 rating means dry, protected indoor locations only; for damp or splash-prone spots such as a shower niche or a covered exterior soffit, switch to the
LED strip 9.6W/m 24V 48W 30K IP66 version. An aluminum extrusion with a diffuser lens is strongly recommended on open runs: it hides the diodes, adds heat sinking and gives a professional finished edge.
Applications, options and documentationConcrete uses: under upper kitchen cabinets with the strip set toward the front edge of the cabinet, in a cove above crown moulding for indirect ceiling light, along basement stair stringers, inside bookcases and display cabinets, behind bathroom mirrors, under a reception counter or along a boutique's shelving. If you need less output for a shallow cove or a closet, look at the
LED strip 24V 4.8W/m IP22 3000K; for a brighter wash, the
LED strip 19.2W/m 24V 96W 30K IP66; for colour effects, the
RGB LED strip 14.4W/m 24V 72W IP22. Cooler whites of this same strip are available in 3500K, 4000K and 5000K. The full
