Built to disappear into the millworkThis
LED tape light is engineered to be seen only by the light it throws. The flexible circuit board measures 8 mm wide, and the copper is a generous 3 oz. thickness, which helps pull heat away from the diodes and keeps brightness steady over long runs. Sixty-four
Epistar 3528 SMD chips per metre are spaced closely enough that, tucked behind a lens or an aluminum channel, the line reads as a smooth band rather than a row of dots. The strip can be cut every 125 mm (8 LED), so you can size sections to a cabinet, a stair riser or a reveal without wasting material.
Light quality you can trust on finishesAt
CRI 90+, this strip renders colour far better than basic tape light. That matters when the light lands on white quartz, walnut veneer, painted trim, merchandise or a plate of food. The
4000K colour temperature is a clean, neutral white — bright and modern without going blue — which is why it's a favourite for kitchens, work surfaces, garages, offices and retail. Efficiency is rated at
130 LM/W for
4.8W per metre (±10%), and the
120º beam angle gives wide, even coverage close to a surface.

Wiring, dimming and installationThe strip operates on
24V DC, so it needs a 24V DC power supply (driver) sized to the total wattage of your run — multiply 4.8W by the number of metres and leave yourself headroom. Respect the
10 m maximum length per feed; for longer installations, run parallel home runs back to the supply instead of daisy-chaining, which keeps brightness uniform end to end. The strip is
dimmable when paired with a compatible dimming system on the driver side. Clean and dry the mounting surface before applying, avoid sharp folds, cut only on the marked 125 mm points, and mount in an aluminum profile with a diffuser wherever the strip is visible — it hides the dots and helps with heat. With an
IP22 rating, keep this one to dry indoor locations.
Where it works and what pairs with itThink under-cabinet and toe-kick lighting in kitchens, cove lighting in living rooms and primary bedrooms, closet and pantry shelving, bathroom vanity accents, basement stairs, home offices, plus reception desks, display cases, bar backs and shelving in shops, clinics and restaurants. If your project moves outdoors or into a damp area like a covered patio or a car wash bay, choose a sealed version such as the
LED strip 4.8W/M 24V 30K IP66. Need more punch for high ceilings or long coves, look at the
LED strip 9.6W/M 24V 48W IP66, and for colour-changing accents there's the
LED strip 14.4W/M 24V 72W RGB IP22. The full technical PDF (LCLS24V-24W-40K-IP22-30M Spec Sheet) is in the Documentation tab for your layout and load calculations.
