Built to disappear into the designThis
LED tape light is built on an
8mm wide flexible PCB with a
3oz. copper layer — a thicker copper base helps move heat away from the diodes, which matters on long continuous runs inside a cove or an aluminum channel. With
64 LEDs per meter of Epistar 3528 SMD chips spaced tightly along the tape, the light reads as a smooth line rather than a row of dots, especially behind a diffuser. Cut points are clearly marked every
125mm (8 LED), so you can size each section to the exact cabinet, shelf or ceiling detail you're lighting.
Light quality that flatters the roomAt
5000K, the light is a clean daylight white — the tone most people want over work surfaces, in garages, in basements without much natural light, and in retail spaces where crispness sells. The
CRI 90+ rendering keeps skin tones, wood grain, paint and packaging looking the way they should, and the
120º lighting angle spreads the output widely so a single strip can wash a whole backsplash or ceiling plane. Efficiency sits at
130 LM/W for a draw of only
4.8W/M, an easy way to cut energy use dramatically compared with old halogen or incandescent accent lighting.

Wiring, dimming and installationThe strip runs on
24V DC, so it needs a 24V driver or power supply sized for the total wattage of your run — add up the metres, multiply by
4.8W/M, and leave yourself headroom. Respect the
max length of 10m per feed; for longer installations, run separate home-runs back to the supply rather than daisy-chaining past that limit, to keep brightness even end to end. The tape is
dimmable through a compatible 24V dimming system, which is ideal for cove lighting you want bright for cleaning and soft for evenings. Its
IP22 rating means dry interior locations only — kitchens, living areas, closets, offices and finished basements, not exposed exterior runs or showers.
Where it works and what's availableThink under-cabinet task light over a kitchen counter, crown-moulding cove light in a living room, shelf lighting in a boutique, display case lighting in a bakery, stair nosing in a duplex, or a bright, even band over a workbench. For damp or outdoor projects, the family includes IP66 versions such as the
LED strip 9.6W/m 24V 48W 30K IP66; if you want colour or tunable white, there's the
LED strip 14.4W/m 24V 72W RGB IP22 and the
LED strip 20W/m 24V 100W IP22 CCT. Full details, dimensions and the colour temperature ordering guide are in the technical spec sheet available in the Documentation tab.
