Built to run bright and lastThis
LED tape light is built on a 10mm wide PCB with a 3oz copper layer — heavier copper means better heat transfer away from the diodes, and heat is the single biggest enemy of any LED strip. It carries 128
Epistar 2835 SMD chips per meter, densely packed so that the line of light reads as a smooth band rather than a row of dots, especially behind a diffuser. The IP66 protection seals the circuit against dust and water jets, which makes this version far more forgiving in kitchens, bathrooms, workshops and any spot where dust, humidity or the occasional wipe-down are part of life.
Light quality you can trustAt 19.2W/M and 120 LM/W, this is a high-output tape, not a decorative afterthought — it can genuinely light a counter, a workbench or a display case. The 5000K colour temperature gives a crisp, daylight-white feel that keeps workspaces alert and makes white surfaces read clean. What really matters visually is the
CRI 90+: colours, finishes and materials stay faithful, so cabinetry, tile, artwork and merchandise look the way the designer intended. The 120º beam angle spreads light wide, filling a cove or a channel evenly instead of leaving hot spots.

Wiring, dimming and installationThe strip runs on
24V DC, so it requires a constant-voltage 24V driver sized for the total wattage of your run — count 19.2W per meter plus a safety margin. Runs can reach up to 10m; for longer installations, feed separate runs from the source rather than daisy-chaining endlessly, so brightness stays even from one end to the other. Cut only on the marked cut points every 62.5mm (8 LEDS), then solder or use a connector suited to the 10mm PCB width. The tape is
dimmable through a compatible 24V dimming system, which lets you drop a bright kitchen cove down to a soft evening glow. Mounting it in an aluminum extrusion with a diffuser is always the right call: it hides the dots, protects the tape and helps dissipate heat.
Where it works and what goes with itThink cove and ceiling perimeter lighting in a living room,
under-cabinet lighting in a kitchen, mirror and vanity niches, stair nosings, basement renovations, garage benches, then on the commercial side: bar fronts, reception desks, retail shelving, display cases and signage.
