Built to run long and look cleanThis
24V LED tape uses Epistar 2835 SMD chips mounted at a density of 128 LEDs per meter on a 10 mm wide PCB. That tight spacing is what kills the "dotted" look when the strip sits behind a diffuser, and the 3 oz. copper thickness of the board helps carry current and manage heat over long runs — the two things that make cheap tape fade early. The flexible board bends around coves and inside channels, and the IP66 protection rating adds a sealed coating that shrugs off dust and splashes, so this
LED strip lighting can go where standard indoor tape shouldn't.
Light quality you can actually seeAt 19.2W/M with 120 LM/W efficiency and a 120º beam angle, this
LED light strip throws a wide, even wash rather than a narrow stripe — ideal for washing a ceiling cove or lighting a full countertop depth. The
CRI 90+ rating is the detail that sells the job: whites stay white, wood tones stay rich, fabrics and food and merchandise look the way they should. The 4000K neutral white of this model is the go-to for kitchens, workshops, garages, offices and retail, where you want a crisp, modern light without going cold or yellow.

Wiring and installationThe tape runs on
24V DC, so plan a driver/power supply sized for the total wattage of your run, with headroom. Respect the maximum length of 10 m per run; longer installations should be fed as separate runs from the supply rather than daisy-chained end to end. Cut only on the marked cut points every 62.5 mm (8 LEDs) so each segment keeps a complete circuit. The strip is
dimmable, which pairs well with a compatible 24V DC dimming system — perfect for a kitchen cove that goes from full task light to a soft evening glow. For the cleanest result, mount it in an aluminum profile with a diffuser: the channel acts as a heat sink and hides the individual diodes. Because of the IP66 coating, plan your connections and end caps carefully so the sealed section stays protected.
Applications, family and documentationThink under-cabinet and toe-kick lighting, backlit mirrors and vanities, stair and hallway guidance, basement and garage ceilings, closet and pantry shelving, plus commercial work: retail shelving, display cases, bar fronts, reception desks and restaurant coves.
