Built for long, clean runsThis
24V LED tape uses
Epistar 2835 SMD diodes at a density of 128 pcs per meter, which is what kills the "dotting" effect when the strip is installed close to a surface or behind a shallow diffuser. The flexible PCB is 10mm wide — narrow enough to slip into most aluminum profiles — and uses 3oz. copper, a heavier conductor that helps keep voltage and colour consistent from the first LED to the last. The
IP66 jacket seals the circuit against dust and water jets, so the tape can live in rooms where steam, splashes and sawdust are part of daily life.
Warm, high-fidelity lightAt
2700K, the light lands in classic warm-white territory: cozy, residential, the tone most people associate with a relaxing room at night. What sets this tape apart is
CRI 90+, a high colour rendering index that keeps whites clean and reds rich — critical over kitchen counters, in retail display cases, in bathrooms where makeup is applied, and anywhere finishes were chosen carefully. Output is rated at
19.2W/M ±10% with an efficiency of
120 LM/W and a 120º beam angle for an even wash along walls and ceilings.

Wiring, cutting and dimmingPlan the installation around three numbers. First,
24V DC: the strip must be fed by a 24V DC power supply sized for the total wattage of your run — at 19.2W per meter, a five-meter run draws roughly 96W before any safety margin, so choose a driver with headroom. Second, the
max length of 10m per run; longer installations should be split and home-run back to the supply rather than daisy-chained end to end. Third, the cut size of 62.5mm (8 LEDS): cut only on the marked copper pads, then solder or use a compatible connector, and reseal the cut end on this
IP66 version to preserve the rating. The tape is
dimmable, so pair it with a 24V-compatible dimming driver or controller to take a bright cove down to a soft evening level.
Where it works, and what pairs with itThink crown-moulding coves in a living room, under-cabinet task light over a quartz counter, a lit toe-kick in a mudroom, stair nosing in a finished basement, a backlit bathroom mirror, illuminated shelving in a boutique, or a glowing bar front in a café. Same family, different look:
LED strip 19.2W/M 24V 96W 30K IP66 for a slightly crisper white,
LED strip 14.4W/M 24V 72W RGB IP66 for colour-changing accents, or the indoor IP22 version of this exact tape,
LED strip 24V 19.2W/M IP22 2700K, for dry areas. Full details, dimensions and ratings are in the technical spec sheet available in the Documentation tab of this page.
