Built for long, uninterrupted runsThe whole point of a
120V LED strip is simplicity. Instead of sizing a low-voltage driver, calculating voltage drop and splitting your layout into short sections, you feed the strip directly from line voltage and keep going. At
3W per metre (±10%), the load stays modest over long distances, which is exactly why this format is popular for corridors, perimeter coves, soffits, stairwells and industrial aisles. The strip is flexible, it follows curves and corners, and it can be cut to length on the marked
cut size of 100 mm so nothing is wasted at the end of a run.
Light quality you can live withOutput is rated at
200 lumens per foot, a comfortable level for accent coves, task areas, display cases and utility spaces where you want a clean line of light rather than a glare bomb. The
4000K colour temperature is the neutral white most Canadians choose for garages, kitchens, workshops and commercial interiors: bright and alert, but never clinical. With a
CRI of 80+, skin tones, paint colours, wood grain and packaging all keep their true character — a detail that matters as much in a retail display as it does under a kitchen cabinet.

Installation, sealing and compatibilityThe
IP65 rating means the strip is sealed against dust and water jets, so it is at home in damp basements, garages, covered exterior applications, walk-in areas and dusty shops. Cut only on the marked
100 mm points, re-seal any cut end properly, and mount on a clean, flat surface or inside an aluminum channel to protect the ribbon and spread the light. Since this model is
not dimmable, wire it to a standard switch or contactor rather than a dimmer — that single detail avoids flicker and premature failures. Its
cETLus certification and
120VAC operation make it a straightforward specification for Canadian residential and commercial projects.
Applications, related products and documentationThink crown-moulding coves in a living room, under-counter lighting in a basement bar, a continuous line over a workbench, shelf lighting in a convenience store, stair nosings in a triplex, or aisle marking in a storage warehouse. When a project calls for a brighter, dot-free line of light, the COB versions of this family are the natural step up: the
LED strip 120V COB 12W/m 3000K, the
50 m COB roll in 3000K and the
COB 12W/m in 4000K, with the matching
120V power cord for 12W/m COB LED strip for those COB models. The full technical PDF spec sheet for this product is available in the Documentation tab — download it before you order your custom length.
