A weatherproof dimmable driver
The LCPSLCODIM-12V-96W combines full dimming with an IP67-rated design for indoor or outdoor installations. It is a constant-voltage driver that turns line voltage into a steady 12V DC output for LED strip lighting and other 12V LED lighting, and it works with leading-edge and trailing-edge TRIAC dimmers for flicker-free dimming. Its full-protection plastic housing, cooled by free air convection, is easy to install close to the lighting, whether on a deck, in a soffit or inside a sign cabinet.

Electrical performance
The model table of its spec sheet rates the 12V version at 100W and 8.33A, with a ±0.5V output tolerance. The universal input covers 100-130V AC or 170-265V AC at 47-63 Hz, with a typical efficiency above 83% and a power factor of 0.72 or more at 110V (0.75 or more at 265V). Short-circuit protection (hiccup mode, automatic recovery once the fault is removed) is joined by overload and over-temperature protection: above 100°C ±10°C the output turns off, then recovers automatically as the driver cools. The withstand voltage reaches 3.75 kV AC between input and output, and the unit operates from -40°C to +60°C in 20-90% RH non-condensing humidity.

Installation and compatibility
Use it with 12V constant-voltage LED strips, other 12V LED lighting and moving sign applications. Add up the wattage of your lighting and keep it comfortably below the driver's rating, dividing very long layouts into zones. The 12V family also includes the 24W 12V dimmable LED power supply and the 48W 12V dimmable LED power supply for smaller indoor zones, while the 96W 24V dimmable power supply serves 24V strips. Connect the driver's input to a compatible TRIAC dimmer, protect the wiring from mechanical damage and have a licensed electrician make the line-voltage connections, especially outdoors.

Typical projects include dimmable outdoor LED strip lighting on decks, pergolas, gazebos, docks and stairways, restaurant and bar terraces, facade and soffit accents, hotel entrances and outdoor signs, as well as indoor coves, kitchens and display walls.
