A dimmable driver for 12V LED lighting
This dimmable LED driver (LCPSLCODIM-12V-24W) is a constant-voltage power supply that turns line voltage into a stable 12V DC output for LED strips and other 12V LED lighting. Where a standard driver only switches your lights on and off, this one follows the dimmer: it is compatible with forward-phase, magnetic low-voltage and triac dimmers, and its PWM output provides flicker-free dimming. It is a Class 2 LED driver that meets the UL8750 and UL1310 safety standards.

Electrical performance and protection
At 24W and 2A, the output is held at 12V with a ±0.5V tolerance. The universal input accepts 100-130V AC or 170-265V AC at 47-63 Hz, with a typical efficiency above 84% and a power factor of 0.70 or more. The driver protects itself and your lighting against short circuits (hiccup mode with automatic recovery once the fault is removed), overload, over-current and over-temperature: if its temperature exceeds 100°C ±10°C, the output turns off and recovers automatically after cooling down. It operates from -40°C to +60°C in 20-90% RH non-condensing humidity and is cooled by free air convection inside a full-protection plastic housing.

Installation and compatibility
Use it with 12V constant-voltage LED strips, LED modules and other 12V LED lighting, as well as moving sign applications. Add up the wattage of your lighting and keep it comfortably below 24W; for longer runs, the 48W 12V dimmable LED power supply and the 96W 12V dimmable LED power supply offer more capacity, and the 24W 24V dimmable power supply is the match for 24V strips. With its IP20 rating, install it in a dry indoor location such as a cabinet, a dropped ceiling or a utility room; the junction box is sold separately. Connect the driver's input to a compatible forward-phase dimmer and have a licensed electrician make the connections.
