This waterproof LED driver (LCPSLCO-12V-24WIP67) has an IP67-rated design for indoor or outdoor installations. Its compact body measures 182 x 29 x 20 mm (L x W x H), or 7.165 x 1.142 x 0.787 in, and weighs 0.200 kg, so it tucks neatly into a soffit, behind a planter, under a cabinet or inside a sign. Cooling is handled by free air convection, and units go through a 100% full-load burn-in test, a good sign of long-term reliability for your LED power supply.

Stable 12V output and complete protection
As a constant-voltage LED driver, it supplies 12V DC with a ±0.5V tolerance and a rated current of 2A, for a rated power of 24W. It accepts a wide 100-265V AC input at 50/60 Hz and runs at a typical efficiency above 83%, which means less wasted energy and less heat. Three protections are built in: a short circuit puts the unit in hiccup mode and it recovers automatically once the fault is removed; overload protection kicks in at 145-160% above peak rating; and over-temperature protection shuts the output down until the driver is powered on again. The input-output and input-ground withstand voltage is 1.5 kV AC.

Installation and compatibility
This driver is intended for 12V constant-voltage LED lighting, such as 12V LED strips and modules. Add up the wattage of the lights you connect and keep the total comfortably below 24W for a cooler, longer-lasting installation; for longer runs, split the lighting into zones with one driver each. It is non-dimmable, so use it for lighting that runs at full brightness and not with a dimmer. It works in ambient temperatures from -30°C to +50°C and in 20-99% RH non-condensing humidity. For a 24V strip, use the 24W 24V non-dimmable power supply, or step up to the 60W 24V non-dimmable power supply for bigger 24V projects. Have a licensed electrician make the line-voltage connection.
