A profile built like a structure
The 94 Series is designed around twin mounting channels that open up a wide range of installation options. According to the ordering guide on the spec sheet, it can be clipped in, surface mounted with 1-side, 2-side or 90-degree brackets, hung with a suspension kit on 15 ft aircraft cable, or set on a swivel wall bracket or a swivel sign arm with a 6-inch or 18-inch offset. With 90° and 135° corners (6 x 6 in), several lengths can be assembled into complex spatial configurations; joiners are ordered separately. Its rugged 6063-T5 aluminum alloy withstands abuse in demanding applications and extreme weather, all with an understated elegance.
Light quality and heat management
Good linear lighting starts with good thermal control. The alloy increases heat dissipation, which helps extend the lifetime of the LED source, especially in long continuous runs. Inside the profile, the LED heat sink insert sits in one of 3 position slots so you can aim the light and set the needed beam angle, whether you are lighting a sign face or a work surface below. The spec sheet lists several lens options, including clear and opal lenses, plus a high-efficiency reflector option, and the design gives uniform light without hot spots for a smooth, professional line.
Electrical and installation details
The 33 mm (1.25 in) wide mounting area accepts multiple or oversized LED sources for extra power, while application guides keep 10 mm (3/8-inch) wide LED engines straight along the whole length. For power, the ordering guide shows a remote driver canopy plate, an integrated driver in the canopy, or an integrated driver and suspension kit, the latter only available with the suspension bracket. Plan the driver location and the wiring path before mounting, make sure the LED strip and driver you choose are matched to each other, and have all permanent connections made by a qualified electrician in line with local code.
