One controller, three types of LED strip
The E3-RF is a 3 in 1 receiver, which means it reads and drives RGB, RGB+W and RGB+CCT LED strip lights. Instead of stocking a different controller for every product, you keep one unit on the shelf and match it to whatever strip the project calls for: pure colour chasing for a games room, colour plus a dedicated white channel for a living room cove, or colour plus tunable white when the client wants warm relaxing light at night and crisp white for cleaning and working. The output connection is common anode, the standard wiring layout for this family of colour-changing strips, and the 3 in 1 architecture means the same unit can follow you from one job to the next.
RF control, zones and self repeating signal
Communication runs on 2.4GHz RF rather than infrared, so you do not need line of sight — the signal passes through cabinet doors, drywall and furniture, with a control distance of 30m. The system handles 1 to 8 zones, so a single remote can separate kitchen, island, dining area and hallway, or front window, shelving and counter in a boutique. Because the controller is self repeating, each additional unit in the installation helps relay the signal deeper into the building, which is a real advantage in long basements, open-plan commercial floors and multi-room residential jobs.

Wiring and power supply
Installation was designed to be quick. The tool-free wiring system asks only that you strip 10mm of the conductor, insert it and clip it securely — no screwdriver, no loose terminal screws to chase later. Two inputs are provided: a DC barrel jack for plug-in power supplies and two clips for hardwired power supplies, so the same controller suits a plug-in desk or display application and a hardwired ceiling cove. Feed it with a non-dimmable power supply: the E3-RF performs the dimming itself on the low-voltage 12V or 24V side, so a dimmable driver is not required. Respect the output limits — 6A per channel and the Class 2 total output figures above — and split long runs across multiple controllers or additional power supplies when the load calls for it. The unit is iP20, so plan it for dry interior locations inside a cabinet, cove, ceiling chase or enclosure, and keep it within its -10~40°C working range.
Applications and documentation
Typical projects include kitchen under-cabinet and toe-kick accents, ceiling coves and tray ceilings, staircases, home theatres and basement bars, bedroom headboard lighting, as well as commercial work: restaurant and bar ambiance, retail shelving and window displays, salons, gyms, reception desks and event spaces where the colour needs to change with the mood. At only 100.6mm x 40mm x 17.6mm it tucks away almost anywhere, which keeps the finished job clean.
