Power reaches the track through a feed piece: a live-end at the end of the track, a center feed anywhere along the track from a junction box, or a wired-end that takes power from a receptacle. The polarity groove on the face of the track indicates the location of the grounding conductor, so every connector and fixture goes in the right way. Turn the power off at the breaker and have a qualified electrician make the connection according to the electrical code in your province.

Design your layout
Sections are joined with the compatible track connectors: an I-connector links two sections at 180°, an L-connector at 90°, a T-connector joins three sections at 90°, an X-connector joins four, and a flexible connector sets two sections at varying angles. An end cap finishes the run neatly, and hollow stem rod kits with ceiling canopy, mounting brackets and hardware let you suspend the track from the ceiling. Accessories are not included with the track.
