Its copper conductors, in 12 gauge, are held by PVC insulators and concealed in an insulating thermoplastic insert with a low profile.

Electrical characteristics
This single-circuit track is designed for 120 V applications, with single hot and neutral conductors rated for 20 amps per branch circuit. The system electrical rating is 20 A, 120 V, 60 Hz. A polarity groove on the face of the track shows the location of the grounding conductor, so feeds and connectors can be installed in the correct orientation. Turn the power off at the breaker before any work, and have a qualified electrician make the connection in line with the electrical code of your province.

Build your layout with track connectors: an I-connector at 180°, an L-connector at 90°, a T-connector, an X-connector or a flexible connector for varying angles, then finish with an end cap. A hollow stem rod kit, with ceiling canopy, mounting brackets and hardware, lets you suspend the track from the ceiling.
