Discreet by designThe LCTK-6002-WH is a
white track section of 2 ft (24 in, 610 mm) for residential and commercial projects. On a white ceiling, the track reads as a quiet line, so attention goes to the light rather than to the hardware. Its body is
extruded aluminum, and it carries flat, solid integral conductors rated at 20 amps. The copper conductors, in 12 gauge, are held by PVC insulators and concealed in an insulating thermoplastic insert with a low profile.
Wiring and electrical ratingThis is a
single-circuit track for 120 V applications. The single hot and neutral conductors are rated for 20 amps per branch circuit, and the system electrical rating is
20 A, 120 V, 60 Hz. A
polarity groove on the face of the track indicates the location of the grounding conductor; keep it in mind when you position feeds and connectors. As with any lighting circuit, switch off the breaker first and let a qualified electrician make the connection according to your provincial electrical code.
Accessories and layoutsThe spec sheet in the Documentation tab lists the accessories of the same track system (sold separately). Power can come from a live end at the end of the track, a live end with canopy from a junction box, a
center feed anywhere along the track, a live-end conduit feed or a wired end connected to a receptacle. Sections join with an I-connector at 180°, an L-connector at 90°, a T-connector, an X-connector or a flexible connector for varying angles, and an
end cap finishes the run. A hollow stem rod kit, with ceiling canopy, mounting brackets and hardware, lets you suspend the track. For a longer white run, add the
4 ft white track; the same 2 ft section is also available as a
brushed nickel 2 ft track and a
silver 2 ft track.
