Built for the grid ceiling
This SPECLITE volumetric LED troffer uses a rigid steel housing in a clean white finish, so the frame stays square and drops neatly into a standard 2x4 T-bar opening without sagging or twisting. The frost polycarbonate lens softens the output and hides the diodes, which is why the fixture meets or exceeds DLC 5.1 glare criteria — an important detail in offices and classrooms where people look up at ceilings all day. Anti-seismic mounting clips are included in the box, and the fixture weighs 5.00 KG. Installation is flexible: recessed in the grid, surface mount on a hard ceiling, or suspended where there's no drop ceiling at all.
Light quality you can tune on site
Five selectable colour temperatures — 3500K, 4000K, 5000K, 5700K and 6500K — let you match existing lighting or set the mood room by room from the same carton. Five selectable wattages (50, 40, 35, 30 and 25 W) let you dial output to the space and to your energy targets. At maximum, the fixture produces 6,229 lumens with a real power draw of 49.9 W, an efficiency of 124.83 lm/W and a 180° beam angle for broad, even coverage. A CRI of 82.6 keeps colours natural, and the flicker-free output is easier on the eyes during long work sessions. Dimming is 0-10V DC, so it integrates with common commercial dimmers, occupancy controls and building management systems.

Electrical and installation notes
The universal 120-347V driver is the feature contractors appreciate most: the same fixture wires to 120V in a small clinic or 347V in a commercial building, which simplifies ordering and stocking on multi-site jobs. Run your 0-10V control wiring alongside the line voltage feed, set the wattage and CCT selectors before you lift the fixture into the grid, and confirm the ceiling grid is properly supported. Built-in 2KV surge protection (with or without grounding) helps the driver ride out the spikes that show up on older commercial services, and the -25°C to 40°C operating range means unheated warehouses, garages and loading areas are fair game. An occupancy sensor can be added as an option on this series.
Where it works and documentation
Think open-plan offices and boardrooms, retail sales floors, school classrooms and corridors, hospital and clinic waiting rooms, municipal buildings, gyms, and finished basements with a suspended ceiling. A typical classroom retrofit replaces old fluorescent troffers one-for-one in the same grid opening; a warehouse office can run at 25 W where light levels are modest and 50 W where task work happens. Because it's DLC Premium listed, the fixture is generally eligible for utility efficiency programs in Canada — check your local program with the DLC ID S-B9SS5B.
