Built for long runs and rough conditions
The FS50CWA401300WR is a flexible 120VAC LED strip delivered on a 50 m roll — one continuous product instead of a chain of separate fixtures. The flexible body follows curves, coves, corners, round columns and irregular ceilings, and the cut points every 5 cm let you finish a run right where it needs to end, with very little leftover. Line-voltage operation is the real advantage here: no external driver box to find room for, no low-voltage feed to plan, and long uninterrupted runs from a single connection point — the reason this format shows up so often in warehouses, garages, tunnels and temporary work light setups.
Light quality
The strip is rated at 13W/M and 1,170 lumens, in a 4000K neutral white. That colour temperature is the workhorse of commercial lighting: white enough to read labels, part numbers and colour-coded wiring accurately, warm enough that it never feels like a hospital corridor. Spread over a continuous line rather than concentrated in point sources, the light lands evenly on floors, shelves and work surfaces, softening the hard shadows you get from spaced-out fixtures — a real difference in a narrow aisle, a stairwell or a deep storage rack. Like all LED technology, it draws a fraction of the energy of halogen or incandescent work lighting for the same visual result.

Installation and handling
Plan the run first: measure the length, then cut at the marked points every 5 cm so each section ends cleanly. Because this is a line-voltage LED strip, all connections, end caps and sealing must be made by a qualified electrician in accordance with the Canadian Electrical Code and local requirements — line voltage is not a place to improvise. Keep the strip's IP68 integrity intact at every cut and connection: a perfectly sealed strip with an unsealed end is no longer protected. Test each section before final fastening, and avoid sharp kinks or tight folds; the strip bends, it doesn't hinge.
Where it earns its place
Think of the jobs where conventional fixtures are a nuisance: a damp crawl space under a Québec triplex, an unheated detached garage, a car wash bay, a loading dock exposed to snow and salt spray, a barn alley, a walk-in cooler, a construction site that needs bright work lighting for months. Retailers use it for backlit signage, display cases and shelf edges; homeowners use it in basements, workshops, under decks and along covered patios. The 50 m roll also keeps a multi-room or multi-zone project perfectly consistent in colour and output.
