Construction and cutting
This is a flexible LED tape light built on an 8 mm wide circuit, populated with 120 Epistar 3528 SMD chips per meter — a high chip density that closes the gap between diodes and gives you a continuous ribbon of light instead of a row of visible dots. The strip can be cut every 6 LEDs, which works out to 50 mm increments, so you can size a run to a cabinet, a shelf or a cove without wasting much material. Available lengths are 5 or 8 meters. Factory connections are already in place: a female DC plug (17 cm) on one end and two wires (17 cm) on the other, which makes the first installation almost plug-and-play and leaves the option of hard-wiring the far end into a longer feed.
Light quality
Typical output is 800 lumens per meter — it will vary slightly depending on the Kelvin degree chosen — with a 120° lighting angle that spreads light across a countertop or a wall rather than punching a narrow stripe. A CRI of 80+ keeps whites clean and wood tones honest, which matters when the strip is lighting food prep, merchandise or a finished trim detail. The series is offered in 2700K, 3000K, 3500K, 4000K and 5000K; the model code ends in the Kelvin value, and 3528120K-3000 is the 3000K warm white — the go-to tone for kitchens, living rooms and hospitality spaces where you want the light to feel like lamplight rather than office light.

Electrical, dimming and installation
The strip operates at 24 V DC low voltage, which is friendly to work with and keeps voltage drop lower over long runs than 12 V tape. The kit ships with a standard plug-in non-dimmable driver — 72 W for the 5 m kit and 96 W for the 8 m kit — and the spec sheet calls for a Class 2 power supply sized at 12 W per meter. For control, you have two clean paths: a low voltage dimmer and remote combo installed on the DC side (an E2-RF dimmer with a K1, K2, B1, K0S, FUT007 or C1 remote), or a dimmable power supply driven by a 120V AC wall dimmer. Mount the strip on a clean, dry, degreased surface, keep the driver accessible and ventilated, and avoid coiling unused tape on the roll while powered.
Applications and documentation
Concrete examples: under-cabinet lighting in a kitchen, a lit toe-kick in a bathroom vanity, glass shelves in a retail display, a cove above crown moulding in a living room, a basement bar front, a bookcase, a closet interior, a reception desk reveal, or an accent line behind a TV wall. Because the rating is IP20, keep it indoors and out of wet or damp locations — no exterior soffits, no showers, no unprotected garages exposed to splashing. Pairing it with an aluminum LED channel and a diffuser lens gives a crisp architectural line, protects the tape and improves heat management.
