LED track head finished in black, designed to sit discreetly on an H-type rail and let the lit object take all the attention. The head pivots on a 350° swivel and a 90° tilt, which means you can walk into a room, twist and aim each fixture, and lock in the composition without moving the track itself. The black finish is the easy choice over dark ceilings, exposed black conduit, industrial-style lofts and gallery ceilings painted matte black, where a white head would show up as a bright dot in the field of view.
Light quality that flatters what it touchesWith a
CRI 93+, this head belongs in the accent-lighting category where colour fidelity is not optional. Oil paint, watercolour, printed packaging, leather goods, bakery display, jewellery, hair colour in a salon — all of them look dull under low-CRI light and come alive here. The
10° to 60° adjustable lens is the second half of the equation: tighten it down to a narrow spot to make a single canvas glow against a dark wall, or open it up toward 60° to wash a wider display table or a group of frames. At 1800lm from a 20W draw, each head puts out a real accent beam while keeping connected load low on a long track run.

Electrical, dimming and installationThis is a line-voltage head: it runs directly on AC120V 60Hz through the track, with no separate driver box to hide above the ceiling. Installation is the classic H-track routine — line up the
H-type 3-wire adaptor with the channel, drop it in, rotate the lever to lock and make contact, then slide the head along the rail to its final position. Because the adaptor is a standard H format, the head is compatible with Halo, Juno, Lightolier and Global type track systems, so an existing rail can often be upgraded head by head instead of being torn out. For dimming, wire the track circuit to a
Triac (leading-edge) wall dimmer and test the low end before finalizing the install; as always, respect the track's maximum load and the Canadian Electrical Code, and have a licensed electrician handle any new circuit.
