Built to bend, not to break
What sets this strip apart is the M-shaped printed circuit board. Instead of one rigid straight ribbon, the copper traces zigzag between each LED group, which lets the strip curve sideways around letters, circles, ovals and serpentine coves without cracking solder joints. The 2835 LED chips are laid out at 60 LEDs per meter across 5 meters (300 LEDs), on a slim 6 mm wide board that tucks into reveals, sign cans and narrow aluminum profiles. To keep that flexibility, the strip has no silicone coating — a trade-off that makes it an indoor-only product, rated IP20.
Light quality you can build a project around
Each meter puts out a typical 800 lumens with a 120° lighting angle, so light spreads wide and blends quickly behind diffusers or acrylic faces — exactly what you want for even backlighting with no visible dots. The CRI of 80+ keeps whites clean and colours honest on merchandise, millwork and painted surfaces. Three shades of white are available: 3000K warm white for cozy residential spaces, 4000K natural white for a crisp neutral look, and 6000K cool white for a bright, modern edge. The model code reads MTL-FP8AESHDJ-60AXX, where XX denotes the white: WW (warm white), NW (natural white) or CW (cool white).

Wiring, dimming and installation
Plan your power first: at 9 W per meter, a full 5 m run calls for a 55 W Class 2 power supply, and any shorter section should be sized at 11 W per meter. The included female DC plug makes hooking up a driver straightforward, while the two bare wires on the opposite end let you extend or hard-wire the run. There are no quick connectors available for this bendable profile, so when you join cut sections, solder multi-braid wire to the exposed copper pads and insulate the joint. Dimming works two ways: a low voltage dimmer/remote combo on the 12V side, or a dimmable power supply controlled by a 120V AC dimmer on the line side. Heat management matters — mount the strip on a heat-dissipating surface or inside an appropriate aluminum channel to protect output and lifespan.
Where it earns its keep, and what's in the Documentation tab
Think channel letters and backlit logos for a café or clinic, illuminated house numbers in an entry vestibule, curved toe-kicks and rounded island fronts in a kitchen, spiral stair nosings, retail display cases, arched niches and round columns in a lobby. Contractors also use it to trace curved ceiling coves where straight LED strip lighting would have to be cut into dozens of pieces and re-soldered. Since the strip is IP20, keep it out of bathrooms' wet zones, unheated garages and any exterior application. The complete technical spec sheet for the 12V Single Color 2835 Bendable LED Strip 300 LEDs is available in the Documentation tab — download it before you order your 12V power supply, dimmer and channels so every part of your build lines up.
