A PCB built to bend
What sets this bendable LED strip apart is its M-shaped printed circuit board. Instead of a straight copper spine that kinks or breaks when forced around a curve, the M-shape acts like a spring: it lets the ribbon flex side to side, follow a radius, wrap a rounded letter or snake around an irregular object. That flexibility comes with one trade-off you should know up front — to stay this bendable, the strip carries no silicone coating. It is rated IP20 and is an indoor product only. Keep it away from moisture, and plan on a heat sink, which the manufacturer highly recommends for long, trouble-free operation.
Colour and brightness you can see
This kit uses authentic Epistar 5050 SMD chips at 42 LEDs per metre — 210 LEDs over the 5 m roll — delivering light up to 50% brighter than standard RGB strips. The 120-degree beam angle spreads colour evenly behind a face or a diffuser instead of leaving hot dots. Typical output lands at 620–625 nm for red, 515–520 nm for green and 465–470 nm for blue, so reds look rich, greens look clean and blues stay deep rather than washing out. Mix them and you get the full colour range your sign, logo or display calls for.

Wiring and installation
Plan your layout before you cut. The strip can be shortened every 3 LEDs (7.2 cm) at the marked cut lines, which gives you fine control when you're fitting individual letters. For runs longer than 5 m, wire in parallel from the power supply — up to 10 m total, 5 m on each side — rather than daisy-chaining end to end, so brightness and colour stay consistent from the first LED to the last. Budget your supply on the recommended 11 W/m at 12 V instead of the bare 9 W/m minimum; the headroom keeps the driver cool and the colours stable. To link letters or segments together, solder multi-braid RGB wire directly to the exposed copper pads — four conductors, one common and one per colour — and tuck the jumpers behind the sign face. Mounting the strip on an aluminium profile or a metal backing plate gives you the heat sinking that's strongly advised here. Colour and brightness are controlled by remote; this strip does not work with a standard wall dimmer.
Where it earns its keep
Sign shops and fabricators reach for this RGB LED strip for backlit channel letters, halo-lit logos and push-through acrylic. Retailers use it behind reception desks, inside display cases and along curved shelving. Restaurants and bars light up rounded bar fronts, arches and feature walls, while homeowners run it in cove details, around curved headboards, behind mirrors and inside custom millwork — residential and commercial projects alike.
