12/24V LED RECESSED 4'' DLF FLAT - 8W

12/24V LED RECESSED 4'' DLF FLAT - 8W

SKU: LCDL-DLF4-12V-2CCT-WH

Brand: LEDCO

Some ceilings simply don't have room for a traditional can — and that's exactly where this fixture earns its place. The 4" slim LED recessed light (also searched as a flat panel LED downlight, slim pot light, low-voltage recessed light or LED slim panel) is a razor-thin round downlight built for shallow plenums, furred-down bulkheads, soffits, cabinets and every spot where a housing won't fit. Because it runs on low voltage, it drops naturally into projects where a transformer or DC supply is already part of the plan: vans, trailers, marine cabins, RVs, off-grid cottages, display millwork and custom ceilings.

Under the hood, model LCDL-DLF4-12V-2CCT-WH delivers 600±50LM from just 8W on a 12/24V input, with a power factor of >0.94 for clean, efficient operation. A simple switch on the unit lets you pick between 3000K warm white and 5000K cool white, so one SKU covers a cozy living space or a crisp work area. With a CRI >80 and a wide 120° beam angle, colours read naturally and the light spreads evenly instead of pooling. The panel measures 4.72" (120 mm) in diameter and only 0.47" (12 mm) deep, with a clean white trim that sits flush to the surface. It is PWM dimmable, cETLus certified, approved for damp locations, and covered by a 3 years warranty.

This little recessed LED downlight shines in kitchen soffits, hallways, closets, under-stair nooks, retail display cases, basement bulkheads and any Canadian renovation where the joists leave no depth to work with — and its damp-location rating makes it a smart pick for covered porches and bathroom ceilings with proper ventilation. Built flat, built to disappear
The whole point of this flat panel recessed light is what you don't see. At only 0.47" (12 mm) deep and 4.72" (120 mm) across, the round white trim sits tight to the ceiling and leaves nothing but a soft disc of light. There's no bulky can to wrestle into a joist bay, no heat trap above the drywall — just a slim housing, a driver connection at the back and a diffused lens that hides the individual LEDs. That architectural discretion is why designers reach for slim pot lights in furred ceilings, cabinetry, coves and mobile installations where every millimetre of depth counts.

Light quality you can trust
With a CRI >80, wood grain, paint, tile and skin tones all look the way they should. The 120° beam angle throws a wide, even wash instead of a hot centre spot, so a row of fixtures blends into continuous illumination rather than scalloped puddles. The 2 colour temperature settings — 3000K warm and 5000K cold — let you match the mood of the room: warm for living areas, bedrooms and hospitality; cold for garages, workshops, utility rooms and display areas. One product, two atmospheres, chosen at install time.

Wiring, dimming and installation
This is a low-voltage LED downlight: feed it 12V or 24V DC from a suitably sized supply or transformer, connect at the driver connection point, then tuck the fixture into the ceiling opening. Dimming is PWM, so pair it with a PWM-compatible controller or dimmer on the DC side — never a standard line-voltage wall dimmer. Always verify that the total wattage of the run stays within your power supply's capacity, keep wire runs short enough to avoid voltage drop, and cut the ceiling opening to the size given in the instructions. Snap the mounting clips in, and you're done. Because the unit is approved for damp locations, it can also be used in covered, protected areas as permitted by your local electrical code.

Where it works and what pairs with it
Think trailer and van conversions, marine cabins, off-grid cabins running on a battery bank, retail display cases, under-cabinet ceilings, hallway soffits, basement bulkheads and walk-in closets. For line-voltage areas of the same project, keep a consistent look with the Flat round DLF 4" recessed 120V 9W, or mix in commercial-grade downlights such as the Round commercial LED recessed 4" and the Round commercial LED recessed 6" for larger rooms.
