Slim build, smart design
This 4" round flat panel LED recessed light replaces the bulky can with a slim panel just 0.5" (13 mm) thick and 4.8" (120 mm) in diameter, paired with a separate junction box wired ahead of time. Spring clips hold the panel tight against the ceiling for a flush, trimless-looking finish. The black clip-on trim ships with this version and gives a crisp contrast on white drywall, wood or coffered ceilings; the panel itself is white underneath the trim. The technical drawing shows a total depth of 28 mm / 1.1" and 33 mm / 1.33" at the deepest point, which is why this slim pot light works where standard housings simply don't fit.

The integrated LED produces 704 lumens from 9W, spread by a diffused lens over a 110° beam angle for smooth, glare-controlled coverage. Wiring, dimming and installation
Run your 120V feed to the junction box, connect, push the panel through a 4" to 4.25" cut-out and let the clips do the work. Set the CCT toggle before you seat the panel so you don't have to pull it back down. Because it's Type IC rated, it can be in contact with insulation, and damp location approval covers bathrooms, covered porches and soffits. For Triac dimming, the spec sheet lists tested dimmers including the Lutron S-603P, CTCL-153P, TG600P, DV600P, LG600P, SCL-153P, MAW-600, LGCL-153P, 7SCL-153P, 600PH, DV-600P, 6838, CTELV-303P and CTCL-153PD, plus the Leviton 6633-P, 1C33L1, 6674 and 6838-listed equivalents; the Lutron MS-VP600G is listed as N/A for dimming.
