A puck that hides, a light that shows
The whole point of the Under Cabinet Ultra Thin White LED Puck Kit is in the name: ultra thin. Traditional halogen or xenon pucks were bulky pods that hung below the cabinet, got hot, and showed up in every reflection on a glossy backsplash. These slim white pucks sit tight to the underside of the cabinet box, so from a normal standing position you see a bright counter and not the fixture itself. The white housing blends with white and light-toned cabinetry, and sits quietly against wood or dark finishes too. It's the same reason people choose these over a bulky fixture when they search for under cabinet lighting or LED puck lights.
Light quality and colour choice
Each puck packs 18 individual integrated LED lights into a single 2W body. Multiplying small emitters instead of using one large one gives a softer, wider spread of light on the countertop, which means fewer of those harsh scalloped bright-and-dark patches you get from cheap single-chip pucks. You pick the white you want for the room: Warm White (3000K) leans yellow and cozy, great for a kitchen you also live in, or for warming up wood shelving and a bar area; Natural White (4500K) is the neutral middle ground that keeps food, paint colours and fabrics looking honest; Cool White (6000K) is the crispest, most contemporary option and the one people tend to pick for white lacquer kitchens, workshops and retail displays.

Electrical and installation
This is a low-voltage 12V DC system, which is what makes it so approachable. The included power supply converts your 120V AC household power down to 12V DC, the branch box splits that feed toward each puck, and the connections you need are already in the box — you're not shopping for adapters mid-project. Plan your layout before you mount anything: decide where the power supply will live (inside a cabinet, behind a kick panel or above the upper cabinets), then position the pucks so the light lands on the front half of the counter rather than against the backsplash. Route the wiring along the back edge of the cabinet bottom or through a small hole into the cabinet interior to keep it out of sight. Because the pucks are tiny and the supply is remote, this is a clean retrofit on existing cabinetry, not a renovation.
Where it works, and what's on the page
In a home, the obvious spot is under the kitchen uppers, but the kit does just as well lighting a bookcase or bookshelves, a walk-in closet with shelving, a china cabinet or wall unit, a pantry, a basement bar or an office nook. In a business, think retail display shelves, a boutique counter, a reception niche, a salon station or a display case where a warm pool of light makes the merchandise look its best. If you need a longer continuous line of light instead of pools — over a very long counter, for example — a LED strip product from our LED Strip Fixtures category may be the better tool, and pucks can still handle the tight spots. No spec sheet or IES file is posted for this kit; everything you need to order correctly is the kit contents, the voltage and the shade of white you choose right here on this page.
