Built like a real fixture, not a gadget
The body of this recessed LED puck is machined from solid aluminum with a silver finish, which does two things: it looks clean where the ring meets the wood, and it pulls heat away from the diodes so the light stays stable over long hours of use. The puck measures 50 mm (1.97") across and sits 34 mm (1.34") deep once recessed, so it needs a cavity — a cabinet bottom, a shelf, a soffit or a false ceiling — with that much clearance behind it. The front ring is minimal, so from below you see a flush disc of light rather than a bulky housing. A 27 cm (10.6") lead wire comes out the back, which is plenty to reach a connector or a junction point inside the cabinet.
Light quality and colour
Inside you will find genuine Epistar LED chips producing 200-220 lumens per puck from only 3W. The 60° beam angle is the detail that makes this puck feel professional: it concentrates the output into a defined circle on the counter, the shelf or the display object instead of washing everything evenly the way a strip does. Three shades of white are available — Warm White (3000K) for a cozy, residential feel, Natural White (4500K) for kitchens and workspaces where you want accuracy, and Cool White (6000K) for a crisp, modern or commercial look. This is a single colour puck, so choose the kelvin that matches the rest of the room before you order.

Electrical and installation
This is a 12V DC low-voltage fixture, so it must be fed by a power supply — never wired directly to line voltage. Size your driver generously: we recommend counting at least 4W per puck, which gives the supply headroom and keeps it running cool. The cETLus listing applies when the pucks are connected to a Class 2 power supply, which is exactly what an inspector will look for on a residential or commercial job in Canada or the US. For the cut-out, drill or use a hole saw for a 42 to 43 mm diameter opening; the 50 mm body then covers the edge cleanly. Keep the driver accessible — inside a cabinet, above a soffit, in a service panel — and run your low-voltage wiring back to it, joining pucks in parallel.
Where it works and what is available
Concrete examples: three pucks spaced evenly under an upper kitchen cabinet to light a counter; one puck per shelf in a glass display cabinet at a boutique; a row along a bar overhang; accent lights in a custom bookcase or a walk-in closet; cabin and galley lighting in a boat or RV that already runs on 12V. Because the puck is IP20, keep it in dry indoor locations — not in a shower, not outdoors, not exposed to splashing. The full technical spec sheet for this puck is available in the Documentation tab of this page, with the dimensions, flux, beam angle and certification you will need for your submittal or your inspection file.
