Built for today's light sourcesOlder dimmers were designed around incandescent and halogen filaments, which is exactly why they misbehave with modern drivers: flicker, hum, dead zones at the bottom of the slider. The Diva LED+ uses advanced dimming technology for
dimmable LED, CFL, incandescent and halogen bulbs, and it is UL Listed to control dimmable LEDs, dimmable compact fluorescent lamps (CFL) with integrated ballast, the Lutron LTEA Hi-lume 1% forward-phase LED driver, halogen and incandescent loads. Formerly sold as the C•L, it keeps the same idea: one
wallbox dimmer that follows your fixtures instead of fighting them.
Feel and finishThe large paddle switch reads like a normal switch — guests never have to hunt for the control — while the captive linear slider stays put on the side of the device and sets the light level. Because it drops into a standard designer wallplate opening, it lines up cleanly beside your other devices, and coordinating Claro and Stainless Steel wallplates are available separately. Each unit is
100% factory tested, electrostatic discharge tested, and built with precise colour matching so multi-gang walls look consistent.

Installation and compatibilityWiring is familiar territory for any electrician or confident DIYer: the unit fits a standard wall box and connects like a conventional switch, with a mechanical air-gap switch to disconnect load power during service. For
3-way and 4-way switching, pair it with Claro switches or other mechanical switches at the companion locations. Two habits save callbacks: confirm every bulb is marked or rated DIMMABLE, since only dimmable LEDs and CFLs may be used, and set the low-end adjustment after installation so the lamps fade smoothly instead of cutting out. Note that some dimmable LEDs and CFLs require a minimum number of bulbs for proper operation — keep that in mind on a small two-lamp vanity circuit.
Where it earns its keep, and what's in the documentsIn a house, it turns a bright kitchen into evening lighting, tames a bedroom pot light layout and softens a basement family room for movie night. In light-commercial work — offices, clinics, salons, restaurants — it gives staff a simple way to drop levels during quiet hours and trim energy use. Building out a whole wall of controls?
