Built for smooth, seamless lightThe heart of this
LED tape light is a dense array of Epistar 2835 SMD chips — 128pcs per metre — mounted on a 10mm wide flexible PCB. That density is what removes the "dotted" look when the strip sits close to a surface or behind a lens, giving you a continuous line of illumination in coves, reveals and under-cabinet runs. The PCB uses 3oz. copper, a heavier conductor layer that helps pull heat away from the diodes and supports a rated lifespan of 50 000+ hours. The ribbon stays flexible enough to follow gentle curves and inside corners, and cut points are marked every 62.5mm (8 LEDS) so you can size each run precisely on site.
Light quality you can trustWith a
CRI of 90+, colours stay honest: cabinet finishes, backsplash tile, artwork, food, fabric and cosmetics all read the way they should. The 3000K colour temperature is the classic warm white that flatters wood, brass and warm paint palettes, which is why it dominates residential kitchens, hospitality spaces and boutique retail. Efficiency is rated at 120 LM/W, and the 120º lighting angle spreads output wide so a single line can wash a whole wall or ceiling plane rather than firing a narrow stripe.

Wiring, dimming and installationThis is a
24V DC low-voltage system, so it needs a Class 2 LED driver sized to the total load of your run — remember the strip draws 19.2W/M, so multiply by the metres you install and leave headroom. Respect the 10m maximum run per feed: for longer walls, bring power to a second point rather than extending a single line, which protects you from voltage drop and a dim tail end. The strip is
dimmable, so pair the driver and control you choose according to the driver's dimming protocol. Always cut on the marked 62.5mm points, solder or use proper connectors, and mount in an aluminum channel with a diffuser whenever the strip is visible or installed on a surface that needs heat dissipation — profiles also protect the ribbon during construction and give the installation a finished, architectural look.
Where it works and what pairs with itThink under-cabinet task light in a kitchen, toe-kick and island lighting, vanity and mirror surrounds, cove lighting in a living room or condo hallway, stair nosings, closet shelving, bar fronts, reception desks, display cases and product shelving in a shop. The same 19.2W/M platform is available in other whites —
LED strip 24V 19.2W/M IP22 (35K) and
LED strip 24V 19.2W/M IP22 (50K) — while colour-changing projects can move to the
LED strip 14.4W/M 24V 72W (RGB) IP66, and tunable-white designs to the
LED strip 20W/M 24V 100W IP22 (CCT). The full technical PDF spec sheet for this product is in the Documentation tab — download it for your submittals, electrician or designer.
