Built for long, seamless runsThis
LED tape light is built on a 10 mm wide flexible printed circuit board with a
3 oz. copper PCB — a heavier copper layer than budget tapes use, which helps carry current and pull heat away from the diodes over long runs. Populated with
128 LEDs per metre using
Epistar 2835 SMD chips, the strip produces a dense, near-continuous line of light rather than visible hot spots. It draws
19.2W per metre (±10%), so it is a high-output tape suited to primary lighting, not just accent glow. The
IP66 protection rating means the emitting surface is sealed against dust and water jets, making it far more forgiving in bathrooms, basements, commercial kitchens and covered exterior ceilings than an open tape.
Light quality you can trust on finishesEfficacy is rated at
120 LM/W, and the
CRI 90+ rendering is the spec that matters most when light lands on materials: white oak cabinetry, quartz counters, paint samples, clothing on a rack or food on a plate all keep their real colour. The
3500K colour temperature is the diplomat of white light — warmer than an office, cleaner than a lamp — which is why designers use it in open-concept homes where a kitchen flows into a living room. The
120° lighting angle washes broad surfaces evenly, and because the strip is
dimmable, you can drop it to a soft evening level or run it full tilt for task work.

Wiring and installationPlan the job around two numbers: the strip runs on
24V DC and the
maximum length per feed is 10 m. For anything longer, split the installation into separate runs fed from the driver rather than daisy-chaining, which protects against voltage drop and dim ends. Size your
24V DC LED driver to the total wattage of the tape you install (19.2W per metre) and leave headroom; if you want dimming, pair a compatible dimmable driver with the control system you plan to use. Cut only on the marked
62.5 mm (8 LED) increments, keep solder joints or connectors clean, and mount the tape in an
aluminum profile with a diffuser whenever it will be seen — it hides the dots, protects the silicone and gives you that crisp architectural line. Clean and degrease the mounting surface first for lasting adhesion.
Applications, family and documentationConcrete uses: under-cabinet task lighting over a kitchen counter, toe-kick and island lighting, a glowing cove around a bedroom ceiling, backlit bathroom mirrors, stair and hallway guidance, closet shelving, bar fronts, retail display cases, reception desk feature walls and workshop benches. In the same family you can match the look at lower output with the
LED strip 4.8W/M 24V IP66 or the
LED strip 9.6W/M 24V IP66, keep the same 19.2W/M output in a warmer white with the
LED strip 19.2W/M 24V 96W 30K IP66, or add colour with the
LED strip 14.4W/M 24V RGB IP66 — all 24V DC, so they share the same driver ecosystem. The full
technical spec sheet for this tape is available in the Documentation tab for your submittals and permit files.
