Wiring, mounting and linking
Every fixture arrives with the hardware you need: two "L" mounting clips, two "U" mounting clips, two drywall screws, two anchors, one end cap, one 11.42 inch linking cord and one 61 inch white power cord with a moulded 2-prong plug. Choose surface mount or side mount depending on whether you are fastening to the underside of the cabinet or to the inside of the rail. Fixtures can be joined into linkable runs with the jumper cable and end cap; total power of all linked fixtures should not exceed 180W. For a tidier job with no visible cord, a separate hardwire box with on/off switching (DL-SCL/WB) handles wire management. Mount toward the front edge of the cabinet to push light onto the work surface instead of the backsplash, and always cut power at the panel before you start.
