HEXAGONAL LED CEILING LIGHT RGB (14 HEXS)

HEXAGONAL LED CEILING LIGHT RGB (14 HEXS)

SKU: LCFIX-HEXAGON14-RGB

Brand: LEDCO

Turn a blank ceiling into the best part of the room. This hexagonal LED ceiling light — often searched as a honeycomb light, modular LED ceiling light panel, garage hex light or LED ceiling lights strip kit — builds a continuous, sculpted surface of light out of linked tubes instead of one flat glowing disc. The kit (SKU LCFIX-HEXAGON14-RGB) forms 14 hexagons and links together with X-shaped and Y-shaped connectors, so it works as DIY linear LED lighting for a garage, a home gym, a gaming room, a club, a pub or a shop ceiling that needs to make an impression.

Built for real use, not just looks: the kit includes 46″ (1175 mm) tubes at 16 W each and 18″ (440 mm) tubes at 6 W each, for a total power of 534 W across a layout measuring 96″ x 190″. The RGB colour output is driven by a remote control with the Magic Lantern app, so you can switch from party colour to a clean scene in seconds. Efficiency is rated at 100 lm/W with a CRI greater than 80 and a wide 120° beam angle for even spread. Construction is full PC housing with an aluminium PCB inside and SMD 2835 diodes, rated IP44, input DC24-48V, operating from -20 °C to 45 °C. Lifetime is rated at 30,000 hours and the product carries a 3-year warranty. Tube width is 22 mm and tube length 440 mm for the small segments.

It shines in finished basements, home theatres, rec rooms, bedrooms, home offices and garages, and in light-commercial spaces such as boutiques, studios, waiting areas, gyms and hospitality corners — anywhere in Canada where a plain drywall ceiling deserves better than a single fixture. Plan the pattern on the floor first, transfer it to the ceiling with light pencil marks, cut the power at the panel and have a licensed electrician finish the connection. Pair it with task lighting underneath, like the LED linear cabinet light 3CCT or the LEDbar CCT 46 in, and give your ceiling the wow factor it has been missing.

A modular ceiling made of light
Instead of one big fixture, this hexagonal LED ceiling light is a system of rigid light tubes joined end to end into a honeycomb grid. The kit builds 14 hexagons over a 96″ x 190″ footprint, using 46″ (1175 mm) tubes and 18″ (440 mm) tubes. Because the shape is assembled on site, you can lay out the full pattern as drawn or work out your own arrangement within the same tube count, which is what makes it such a popular DIY garage light and gaming-room ceiling. The dimensional drawing in the spec sheet shows the reference layout with 47.5″ segments and 48″ spacing, a useful starting point before you mark the drywall.

Light quality and colour control
The diodes are SMD 2835 on an aluminium PCB, producing RGB colour at an efficiency of 100 lm/W with a CRI greater than 80 and a 120° beam angle. The wide beam keeps the light spreading evenly across the ceiling plane instead of throwing hard spots, and the diffused tube faces soften the output for comfortable, glare-reduced illumination. Colour is handled through the remote control with the Magic Lantern app, so a home gym can run bright and neutral during a workout and shift to saturated colour for streaming, parties or seasonal décor. LEDs are instant-on, with no warm-up delay.

Installation and what comes in the box
The system is linkable by Y, T and L shape connectors, a safety-oriented design that keeps the electrical joints inside the connector bodies. The kit ships with the light tubes plus 180° two-way connectors, 90° two-way connectors, 120° Y connectors and 120° two-way connectors, along with anchoring hardware and screws, nuts, power cords and zip ties, so most of the fastening work is covered out of the box. Mount it on a flat, dry indoor ceiling: mark your hexagon centres, anchor the tubes, then snap the connectors in place. Input is DC24-48V, so the supplied power cords must be used as intended and the final connection completed by a licensed electrician with the breaker off. If you want dimming through an external control system, confirm compatibility before you order.

Where it fits and what pairs with it
Think detached garages and workshops, basement gyms, media rooms, teen bedrooms, barbershops, tattoo studios, esports lounges, boutique fitting areas and pub corners. Because the hexagons draw the eye upward, this ceiling treatment works best as the feature layer, backed up by focused task light underneath: under-shelf and under-counter bars such as the LED linear cabinet light 3CCT 4 ft, the LED linear cabinet light CCT 14 in or the LEDbar CCT 34 in keep work surfaces bright while the ceiling sets the mood. Full details, the connector list and the dimensional drawing are in the technical PDF spec sheet in the Documentation tab — worth printing before you start marking your ceiling.
