This MR16 LED lamp belongs to the VIVID Series of LED MR16 bulbs and is engineered around one job: putting a precise pool of light on the thing you want people to notice. The reflector body manages heat efficiently so the internal driver components stay protected through years of daily switching, and because LEDs convert far more of their energy into usable light instead of heat, fixtures and trims stay noticeably cooler than they did with halogen reflectors. With a maximum overall diameter of 1.97 in. and a maximum overall length of 1.8 in., it slips into existing MR16 housings without fighting the trim or the socket ring.

Light quality you can trust
At 4000K, the beam reads as a clean neutral white — brighter and more modern than warm halogen, without tipping into a cold blue. That neutrality is why it works so well over prep counters, in display cases and in workshops. A CRI of 80+ means colours hold their character: wood grain looks like wood, produce looks fresh, and merchandise looks like it does in daylight. Electrical, dimming and installation
This is a 12V low-voltage lamp, so it must be fed by a working MR16 transformer — magnetic or electronic — and not wired to line voltage. Always cut power at the breaker before changing lamps, and handle the lens with a clean cloth instead of bare fingers. The lamp is dimmable with compatible dimmers; check dimmer and transformer compatibility before you commit to a large order, and re-lamp every fixture on the same circuit at once so the colour and the dimming curve stay consistent from head to head. One important limit: it is not suitable for use in totally enclosed luminaires, which need airflow around the body to reach the full 25,000-hour rated life.
