Vintage glass, modern filament engineeringThis lamp belongs to the ARTISAN Series of
ST19 LED filament bulbs, built with a clear glass cover so you see the full length of the lit filament. The series uses a longer filament, which makes the bulb both brighter and better looking in the socket — no dark gaps, no single hot point of glare. Because the light source spans the glass rather than sitting at the bottom, the bulb throws light through a 330° beam angle, close to the all-around spread of a traditional incandescent lamp. That matters in open chandeliers, pendant clusters and sconces where light has to escape in every direction, and it's why a filament-style lamp still beats a plastic-domed bulb in any fixture where the lamp is exposed.
Light quality and eye comfortFlicker is the hidden reason some LED rooms feel tiring. This lamp reduces flicker down to 10%, compared with 6.6% for traditional incandescent and far below the California T20 standard of 30% — a real improvement in perceived light quality, especially on camera and under long work sessions. A CRI of 80+ keeps colours honest, and the 4000K neutral white output is the choice for kitchens, workspaces and retail displays where you want crisp, clean light rather than a golden glow. With 500 initial lumens replacing a 50W incandescent lamp, you get familiar brightness from just 5 watts.

Installation, dimming and compatibilityInstallation is as simple as changing any bulb: cut the power, let the old lamp cool, and thread the new one in gently by the
E26 medium base rather than by the glass. The bulb runs on standard 120V line voltage, so no driver or transformer is needed. It is
dimmable, but always confirm your dimmer is rated for LED loads — an older dimmer built for incandescent can cause buzzing or flicker, and keeping the load within the dimmer's LED range avoids most issues. In a multi-lamp fixture, install bulbs from the same family and the same colour temperature so the glow stays consistent; mixing 2700K and 4000K in one chandelier is the most common cause of a mismatched look. With a maximum overall length of 5.39 inches and a maximum overall diameter of 2.52 inches, check your shade or cage clearance before ordering for tight fixtures.
Applications, related lamps and documentationThink exposed-socket lighting: kitchen island pendants over a quartz counter, a row of clear glass pendants along a café bar, wall sconces flanking a bathroom mirror in a damp-rated fixture, stairwell lanterns, covered porch fixtures that see Canadian cold down to -20˚C, and retail window displays where 4000K keeps merchandise looking crisp. The 15,000-hour rating is a practical win in high ceilings and stairwells where getting a ladder out is the real cost. To keep a whole project consistent, look at the
LED bulb B10 5W 4000K for candelabra sockets, the
LED bulb A19 15W 4000K for general ceiling fixtures, or the tunable
LED bulb A19 9W 5CCT when you want to fine-tune the colour temperature room by room. Full details, the dimensional drawing and the complete product table are in the technical spec sheet available in the Documentation tab.
