Installation and compatibility
Cut power at the switch or breaker, let the old lamp cool, then thread the E26 screw base in snugly by hand. Set the colour temperature switch before you install, especially in deep cans where you can't reach it afterward. On a dimmable circuit, confirm the dimmer is rated for LED loads and keep the lamps on a channel together to avoid flicker or drop-out at the low end. Because the lamp is not rated for enclosed fixture application, keep it out of sealed glass jars and gasketed globes; in open cans, gimbals, track heads and open outdoor flood brackets it's right at home.
