Built to last where you can't reachThis
PAR30 reflector lamp is part of the PAR SERIES LED light bulb family (PAR20, PAR30, PAR38) and uses a
glass lens engineered for even, controlled light distribution — no hot spots, no ragged beam edge. The black finish keeps the reflector discreet inside dark track heads and recessed trims, so the eye sees the light and not the lamp. With 25,000 hours of average life, it is exactly the kind of bulb you want in a cathedral ceiling, a stairwell or an exterior soffit where pulling out the ladder is a half-day affair. The 3-year warranty is there in writing.
Light quality you can actually seeTwo numbers do the heavy lifting here.
CRI 90+ means colours render close to natural daylight — a red sweater on a retail rack stays red, oak flooring keeps its warmth, plated food looks appetizing. And the
5CCT selectable switch lets you set one of five colour temperatures right at the bulb before installation, from the warm end of the range to the coolest, using the 27/30/35/40/50K settings printed on the lamp. Choose before you install, standardize an entire job with a single part number, and fine-tune room by room later if the client changes their mind. Output is 840 initial lumens in a
40° beam, a flood-style spread that covers a counter, a piece of art or a display table cleanly.

Wiring, dimming and installationInstallation is as simple as lighting gets: cut power at the breaker, set the colour temperature switch, thread the lamp into the
E26 medium base socket and restore power. No driver to mount, no rewiring, no trim to change. The lamp runs on standard 120 V line voltage and is
dimmable — use a dimmer rated for LED loads and check the manufacturer's compatibility list to avoid flicker or buzzing, and always set the CCT before the bulb goes up, since the switch is on the lamp body. One important limit: this model is not rated for enclosed fixtures, so keep it out of sealed jars and gasketed globes; its
wet location rating, however, makes it fair game for open outdoor-rated housings under a soffit or canopy.
Where it works and what to pair it withThink retail displays and boutique shelving, restaurant tables, gallery and hallway art, kitchen islands, fireplace and feature walls, home theatres on a dimmer, and exterior accent lighting on covered entries or porches — all common Canadian renovation and small-business jobs. In a multi-head track run, mix sizes for hierarchy: the
LED bulb PAR20 7W 5CCT for tighter accents, this PAR30 as your workhorse, and the
LED bulb PAR38 16W 5CCT where ceilings climb. For general-purpose sockets elsewhere in the building, the
LED bulb A19 15W 4000K keeps the same family look. The full technical PDF spec sheet for this model is in the Documentation tab — download it for submittals, permits or your electrician.
