Materials and light quality
The profile is made of 6063-T5 aluminum alloy, which increases heat dissipation; in practice, using an aluminum LED channel increases the lifetime of your LED strip. The opaque lens hides the individual LEDs from view and, together with the profile design, gives uniform light without hot spots. A long lens-fitting system and a new, enhanced mechanical fit for the lens maximize long-term durability. Installation
Use an LED strip 10 mm (3/8 in) wide or narrower. The series spec sheet lists a 45° corner bracket or double-face mounting tape for mounting, and end caps without a hole, with a hole or one of each. A simple sequence works well: cut the profile and lens to the length of your corner, clean the channel, apply the strip, fit the lens, then close the ends with the end caps. For a long 16 ft run, plan where the power feed will come in before you start, so the wire exits neatly through an end cap with a hole.
