One of the smallest on the market
When space is tight, the 44 series makes the difference. At 12.2 mm by 12.2 mm, less than half an inch, this profile is reduced to a minimum while still accepting a good range of LED strips up to 8 mm wide. It slips into shelf edges, cabinet frames, closet shelving and display cases where a standard channel would be too bulky, and turns a bare strip into a neat, finished linear LED line.
Light quality and heat management
The profile is made of 6063-T5 aluminum alloy, which increases heat dissipation, and its use increases the lifetime of your LED engine. The ordering guide lists a clear lens, an opal lens, a black lens for a darker finish and the SiLens. The opal lens is the usual pick for a softer look when the profile is in direct view, for example inside a glass cabinet or along a mirror.
Installation and closet use
The 44 is compatible with multiple installation accessories, including the flat bracket listed in the ordering guide, and it is designed to meet North American woodworking standards, so it fits cleanly into millwork. It conforms to UL STD. 2108 for closet lighting use, a key point for wardrobes and walk-in closets. Custom lengths are available in the series by sections of 2 to 240 inches (6 m). Follow the instructions of your LED strip and driver, and have any line-voltage connection made by a licensed electrician.
