Running on 24V DC, this tape draws just 1.5W/ft (5W/M) and delivers 168 lumens per foot (550 lumens per metre) with a wide 120° beam angle, so you get a soft wash instead of hot spots. The CRI >90 rating makes wood grain, paint, skin tones and merchandise look true, and the 5000K colour temperature brings a crisp, daylight-white tone that sharpens contrast and task visibility. Continuous, dot-free light
The Single Color 5W COBFlex LED Strip replaces the visible diode "dots" of conventional strips with a chip-on-board emitting surface running the full length of the tape. At 97 LEDs/ft (320 LEDs/M), the chips are packed tightly enough that the eye reads one solid line of light, even through a frosted lens at close range. That's what makes this COB LED tape the right call for cove lighting, valances, display shelving and any reveal where the fixture is seen as much as the light it produces. Installation and electrical
Installation is straightforward: peel the double-sided 3M tape on the back and press the strip into a clean, dry channel or surface. Cut only on the marked 5/8" (16mm) increments, and use the 24" (60cm) leads at either end to reach your driver. The 24V DC platform keeps current low and supports longer uninterrupted runs than 12V, which is a real advantage on long cabinetry runs, stair nosings and perimeter coves. Feed the tape with a Class II 24V low-voltage power supply sized to your total load, and choose a dimmable low-voltage supply if you want to dim. For connections without soldering, the COB seamless connector (LS-SC1-COB), connector with 24" lead (LS-SC2-COB), 20' extended connector (LS-SC2-COB-20), double-ended connector (LS-SC3-COB), L-connector for corners (LS-SC4-COB) and the compact wire-to-strip connector (LS-BK-SC2-COB) are all made for this strip and fit the matching aluminum profiles.
