The INDOOR 3528 FLEXIBLE LED TAPE uses the proven 3528 SMD chip format, a long-time favourite for decorative and accent work because of its low profile and consistent output. At W8 x H1.5mm (W5/16 x L1/16"), the LED strip is slim enough to disappear into a cove, a reveal or a shallow channel, and flexible enough to follow curves, columns and rounded millwork. The back arrives pre-applied with double-sided 3M tape, so mounting is a matter of cleaning the surface, peeling and pressing. Cut marks every 2" (50mm) let you size each run precisely instead of hiding an awkward leftover tail behind a cabinet.
Colour and light quality
This version puts out a deep, saturated blue rather than a white colour temperature, which makes it a natural for mood lighting, branding and theatrical effects. With 60 LEDs per metre, the diodes sit close enough together to read as a line of light instead of a row of dots — especially behind a diffuser. The 120° beam spreads the output evenly across the surface you are washing, and the CRI of >90 means any white or wood finishes catching the spill still look natural. Output is rated at 475 lumens per metre (145 per foot), strong enough to register clearly in a dim lounge or a backlit panel.

Electrical, dimming and installation
The tape runs on 12V DC, so it needs a low-voltage driver or power supply; add up the total footage, multiply by 1.5W/FT (or 4.8W/M) and choose a driver with headroom above that figure. Keep runs within the manufacturer's recommended length and feed long installations from both ends or in parallel branches to avoid voltage drop at the far end. The strip is dimmable with a compatible 12V dimming control, letting you drop from a bold blue statement to a soft night-time glow. For joints, corners and jumps between cabinet sections, use solderless connectors made for 3528 tape — no iron required — or solder leads if you prefer a permanent connection. This is an indoor product, so keep it out of wet and damp locations.

Think bar fronts and back-bar shelving, restaurant booths, nightclub ceilings, retail display cases, reception desks, home theatre risers, stair nosings, headboards and cove ceilings in a basement renovation.
