Construction and finish
The LL10 is a slim recessed LED aluminum profile made of anodized aluminum, a material choice that does two jobs at once: it gives the channel a clean, durable surface that won't scratch off like paint, and it pulls heat away from the LED tape bonded inside. Heat is the number one enemy of an LED strip, so running your tape in an aluminum extrusion instead of sticking it straight to wood or drywall is one of the simplest ways to protect your investment. The body measures W15 x H6 mm (W19/32 x H15/64") — low enough to disappear into a cabinet reveal, wide enough to accept standard strip formats.
Light quality and the frosted lens
This SKU ships with the frosted lens (the profile is also offered with an opaque style). The frosted cover is what transforms a row of bright dots into a single continuous line of light. Mounted at the right depth, it removes the "dotting" effect you get from a bare strip, softens glare at eye level and forgives small alignment errors in your tape run. That's especially valuable on under-cabinet lighting, where reflective countertops throw every diode back at you, and in retail display cases where a visible LED point ruins the look of the merchandise.

Installation and compatibility
Two mounting methods are supported. For a recessed installation, route a groove at W15 x H6 mm into the millwork, shelf, bulkhead or stair stringer and drop the profile in flush — the result reads as a line of light cut into the surface, with no visible hardware. For surface mount, fasten the channel directly under a cabinet, behind a valance or along a cove and let the frosted lens face the work surface. On the electrical side, the profile accepts LED strip tape wired with production lead or solder, so plan your feed point and your driver location before you close up the millwork. Note the compatibility list: the LL10 accepts all strips except the Indoor and MP Flex formats. Always confirm your tape width against the W15 mm channel and leave yourself a service loop at the power end.

In homes, the LS-LL10-L2 is the go-to for kitchen under-cabinet runs, pantry and closet shelving, floating vanities, stair and hallway accents, and cove lighting in finished basements. In commercial work, it shows up in display case lighting, retail shelving, reception desks, restaurant bars and hotel corridors, where matching, repeatable results across dozens of runs matter more than anything.
