The LL13 STANDARD (6.56') 2M FROSTED is a wide slim LED aluminum profile — also called an LED channel, extrusion, or track for led strip lights — supplied in a ready-to-install 2 metre (6.56 foot) length with its frosted lens. Instead of a bare tape stuck to a shelf edge, you get a straight, rigid, professional-looking line of light that hides the tape, protects it from dust and knocks, and turns individual diodes into one smooth glow. It is the piece most people are missing when they search for a profilé aluminium style channel to finish under-cabinet, cove, stair, closet or display lighting properly.

Built from anodized aluminum, the LS-LL13 profile measures W24mm x H10mm (W15/16" x H3/8") and installs either recessed or surface mounted — the router dimensions for a recessed groove are W24 x H10mm (W15/16 x H25/64"). Its generous 24 mm width is what makes it a favourite: it accepts wider tapes and leaves room for wiring and connectors. Installation and compatibility
Two mounting methods are supported. For a recessed install, rout a groove of W24 x H10mm (W15/16 x H25/64") into the shelf, riser or ceiling detail and drop the profile in flush with the surface. For a surface mount, fasten the channel to the substrate and clip the frosted lens on after the tape is seated and tested. The channel accepts both indoor and outdoor flex strip, and works with all solderless connectors — you snap the tape into a connector instead of soldering, which saves time in cabinets and tight soffits where a hot iron is a liability. Plan the driver location and the power feed end before you glue anything down, keep connector joints inside the channel where possible, and always test the full run before the lens goes on.
