The LumenstarLED LS-FLI-9B-24-320-3K is a COB LED tape — also called LED tape light, LED strip light, ruban LED or simply tape lighting — built for indoor projects where the light line has to look perfectly smooth. Chip-on-board technology replaces individual diodes with one continuous filament of light, so what you see is a clean glowing line instead of a row of bright dots. It comes on a 16.4' (5M) roll, runs on low-voltage 24V DC, and is at home in cove lighting, under-cabinet lighting, millwork, display cases, shelf edges, toe kicks, headboards and backlit panels.

Wiring, dimming and installation
This is a 24V DC low-voltage tape, so it needs a Class 2 driver sized to the load, plus a little headroom. Respect polarity (+ / 24V-) at both ends, and remember the 24" (60cm) leads give you room to reach a junction box or a driver hidden in a cabinet. For dimmable LED strip lights, the dimming happens at the power supply: choose a dimmable low-voltage supply compatible with your control system and the whole run follows smoothly.
