The FIT fixed track is made of iron with ceramic lamp holders, a combination chosen for a reason: the metal bar stays straight and rigid across its 508 mm (20 in) span, and ceramic sockets tolerate the heat cycles of repeated bulb changes far better than soft plastics. The sand black finish is a textured matte that hides fingerprints and cuts reflections, so the eye goes to the lit object instead of to the fixture. Each of the two heads pivots so you can aim the light exactly where it earns its keep, and the whole assembly stays a tidy 80 mm (3.15 in) deep against the ceiling.

Light quality is your choice
This is a GU10 socket fixture and the bulb is not included, which puts you in control. The recommended lamp shape is MR16 (GU10), the most common accent-lighting lamp on the market, available in warm or neutral tones and in narrow or wide beam angles. A tighter beam draws a bright pool on a countertop or an artwork; a wider beam washes a whole wall.
