Construction and finishThe FIT fixed track is made of iron with ceramic lamp holders, a combination chosen for heat tolerance at the socket and rigidity along the bar. The body is finished in sand black, a low-sheen texture that blends into dark ceilings, reads as an intentional design line on white ones, and keeps dust and fingerprints from showing the way gloss black does. The bar is 508 mm (20 in) long with a 80 mm (3.15 in) dimension shown on the drawing, so it stays visually light on a ceiling while spacing three heads far enough apart to cover a counter or a wall of frames. Each head pivots so you can aim the beams independently — wash a brick wall with all three, or split them between a sink, a cooktop and a pass-through.
Light quality is yours to chooseNo bulb is included, and that is the point. The fixture uses the
GU10 twist-lock base with an MR16 shape, the most widely available accent lamp format in Canada, so you decide the beam angle (narrow spot for artwork, flood for general task light), the lumen output, the CRI and the colour temperature. Warm tones suit living rooms and restaurants; neutral white suits kitchens, retail and workspaces. Dimming behaviour comes from the lamp and the wall dimmer you pair with it, so check the bulb's dimmer compatibility list before you buy a control. If your needs change in a few years, you swap three
GU10 LED lamps instead of replacing the whole fixture.

Installation and electricalWiring is straightforward 120 V line voltage: the canopy screws to a standard ceiling or wall outlet box, the leads land on your supply, and the bar is done — no transformer, no driver, no track connectors or feed ends to order. Because it is
surface mounted, there is no ceiling cut-out and no insulation contact issue, which is why it works over finished basements, concrete slabs in condos, or plaster ceilings where a recessed housing would mean real damage. A suction cup is included so the three MR16 lamps go in and come out cleanly without smudging the reflectors or twisting the heads out of aim. The fixture is rated for damp locations, but it is for indoor use only, and its -40 °C to 65 °C working range means unheated interiors such as a garage, a cottage or a storage room are no problem. Work with the power off and have the installation done to Canadian electrical code by a licensed electrician when you are not sure.
