Solid build, simple design
The FIT Surface Mount Fixed Track is made of iron and ceramic, a combination that keeps the bar rigid and the lamp holders heat-tolerant right where the GU10 bulb sits. The finish on this model is sand white, a soft matte white that hides fingerprints better than gloss and disappears against a painted ceiling (the same fixture is also offered in sand black). The three heads pivot so you can aim each one independently, which is the whole point of a surface mount track: one power feed, three separate pools of light. A suction cup is included in the box to grip the bulb face and make installation or replacement easy, even on a ceiling above a counter.

Light quality is yours to choose
Because no bulb is included, you decide the character of the light. The recommended lamp shape is MR16 (GU10) with a GU10 base, up to 50W maximum per bulb. A narrow beam turns each head into a true accent spot for art or merchandising; a wider beam gives you general task light over a counter or island. Swapping in a different GU10 LED bulb later is a two-minute job, so the fixture can follow the room as it changes use — that flexibility is exactly why fixed tracks stay popular in renovations.

Installation and electrical
The track mounts directly to the surface — ceiling or wall — over a standard outlet box, with no housing to cut into the drywall and no plaster repair afterwards. It wires to a standard 120V supply, so it fits the residential and light commercial circuits found across Canada. Keep the total load in mind: with three GU10 lamps at a maximum of 50W each, size the circuit and any control accordingly, and remember that LED lamps draw a fraction of that. Dimming depends entirely on the GU10 bulbs you install and on a compatible dimmer — the fixture itself is simply a socket and a feed. The damp location rating covers spaces like a covered porch ceiling or a bathroom away from direct spray, while the fixture remains for indoor use only.
