A PCB made to bendWhat sets this tape apart is the serpentine, zig zag copper layout. Instead of one straight ribbon of board, the circuit weaves back and forth, which lets the strip flex laterally — left and right along its own plane — as well as over and under. That means arcs, S-curves, circles, ovals, script lettering and wrapped columns are all fair game. The board is a
2oz density white PCB, 6.5 mm wide and 2 mm thick; the white surface reflects light forward instead of absorbing it, and the heavier copper helps carry current and spread heat along the run. Factory-applied
3M double-sided tape handles non-porous mounting, so clean and degrease your surface first — aluminum channel, sealed MDF, painted drywall trim or metal reveal all hold well.
Light quality you can trust on a finished surfaceWith
120 LEDs per metre and a
120° beam angle, the diodes sit close enough to blend into a smooth line of light rather than a row of hot spots, especially behind a frosted diffuser. Output is
1000 lumens per metre at
9.6W/m, which works out to 104 LM/W — real usable brightness for countertops and display shelving.
CRI 90+ keeps reds, wood grain and fabrics honest, and an
SDCM under 5 means colour consistency from one cut to the next, so two segments facing each other in the same cove will not betray a visible tint shift.

Wiring and installationCut only on the marked 50 mm increments, and keep each run within the 5 m maximum. The spec sheet includes three connection guides worth following:
parallel connection, strongly recommended for strip installations — never exceed the recommended length, because past that point the tape dims at the far end and the strip degrades over time;
middle connection, a parallel feed brought to the centre of a longer single line to prevent that drop-off; and
double-end connection, where you feed power from both ends to double the maximum run, using two identical power supplies if needed. Size your 24V driver to the total wattage of the run and leave headroom. For dimming, match the strip to the control method you already have on site —
0-10V for commercial projects,
DMX or RF PWM for scene control and colour-tuned systems, or an
MLV incandescent dimmer on a compatible magnetic low-voltage supply.
Where to use it, and what goes with itThink curved cove ceilings in a condo living room, a rounded reception desk in a clinic, oval soffits in a restaurant, circular display plinths in a boutique, spiral stair handrails, or illuminated signage letters. Because it carries an
IP22 rating, plan it for dry indoor locations and choose a sealed tape for anything damp or exterior. If your project mixes straight and curved runs, the same family offers straight tapes:
LED strip 24V 2835 4.8W/m 624lm/m IP22 (30K) for softer accent lines,
LED strip 20W/m 24V 100W IP22 (CCT) when you want tunable white, and
LED strip 14.4W/m 24V 72W (RGB) IP22 for colour. The warmer version of this very tape is the
Bendable zig zag LED strip 9.6W/m. The full technical PDF is in the Documentation tab.
