The ATK Series is an extruded aluminum track designed for use with A-Line track fixtures, and the ATK12-WH is the 12-foot nominal length in white. The body is constructed of 0.06" extruded aluminum with a 0.045" PVC bus bar support that holds 12 gauge round bus bars, a combination that keeps the channel rigid over a long run while protecting the conductors. A polarity groove runs along the face of the track to indicate the location of the grounding conductor, so the installer always knows which way the section is oriented before connectors and heads go on. In white, the extrusion reads as a thin line on a painted ceiling — ideal when you want the LED track heads to be the visual element, not the rail.

Electrical and installation details
This is a single circuit power distribution system designed to supply lighting units flexibly. Single hot and neutral conductors are rated for a maximum capacity of 20 Amps (2400 watts per circuit) at 120V, and the copper electrical conductors are concealed inside the thermo-plastic, low-profile track section. Installation is surface mounted using the supplied mounting hardware; suspended mounting is available with accessories ordered separately, including pendant adapters, hollow stem rods, aircraft cable kits and a sloped ceiling canopy kit. Power can enter the run through live end, wired end, centre feed, monopoint or conduit feed connectors, and runs can be shaped with 'I', 'L', 'T', 'X' or flexible connectors. Current limiters are also offered for the single circuit system. All wiring should be completed by a qualified electrician in accordance with local Canadian electrical code.
